Gosaiba Daughters began with a simple frustration: almost every “rose water” on the shelf is perfume, preservative and very little rose. So we went back to the old way.

Damask roses are hand-picked at dawn, while their oils are still asleep in the petals. Within hours they are layered into small stills and slowly hydro-distilled — the fragrant vapour condensed drop by patient drop into true hydrosol, then bottled the very same day. Nothing added, nothing taken away.

The Ritual

    Cleanse

    Begin with a freshly washed face, or anywhere your skin feels tired and tight.

  2. 02

    Mist

    Hold the bottle 15–20 cm away. Close your eyes. Mist 2–3 times in a slow arc.

  3. 03

    Seal

    Press gently into the skin with your palms, then layer serum or moisturiser while still damp.

Keep cool and away from sunlight. Best within six months of opening — though it rarely lasts that long.

Is it really 100% pure rose water?+

Yes. Every bottle holds a single ingredient — Rosa Damascena (Damask rose) distillate. No dilution, no alcohol, no preservatives, no synthetic fragrance. What you smell is the rose itself.

What does "hydro-distilled" actually mean?+

Rose water is the aromatic hydrosol collected during rose petal hydro-distillation. It is the fragrant water remaining after separating essential oil, commonly used for skincare, cooking, and various traditional remedies.

Which skin types is it good for?+

All of them — including sensitive, acne-prone and mature skin. Because there is nothing in the bottle but rose distillate, there is nothing to sting, clog or irritate. As with any new product, do a small patch test first.

How should I store it, and how long does it last?+

Keep it cool and away from direct sunlight — a dressing table or refrigerator shelf is perfect. Unopened, it stays fresh for 24 months; once opened, use within 6 months for the fullest fragrance.
